Do any of the following statements feel like you? 1: I can't seem to fulfill my short- or long-term goals. 2: I'm often anxious, even panicky. 3: I'm often depressed. 4: I often feel unappreciated. 5: I'm uncomfortable around people. 6: I pull away when feeling close to someone. 7: My wife/lover and I are not doing well. 8: I have family, friends, a good job, and still feel empty and alone. 9: I have difficulty expressing my feelings and thoughts to others. 10: I tend to put everyone's feelings before mine, then feel resentful and angry. You are the expert on you?let me be your guide on your journey to self-fulfillment and self-realization. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, a Bachelor's degree from Mercy College, and an Associate's degree from the State University of New York, Westchester Community College. I have worked in outpatient settings conducting both group and individual therapy sessions, as well as serving as a therapist in private outpatient practices. My experience is wide-ranging in regard to mental health, and I excel in working with adolescents as old as seventeen and adults well into their geriatric years. I have found that an integrative treatment approach leads to the most successful outcomes. This includes resolving childhood conflicts that contribute to present difficulties, modifying and changing negative thoughts and behavior patterns, and cultivating resilience and empowerment so that you can move confidently forward.
