About Melanie Pyle

Melanie graduated in 1995 with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. She received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2000 and a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine from Brigham Young University in 2002. Melanie has a passion for return to sport rehabilitation after suffering from a career ending basketball injury in high school and is a Certified Athletic Trainer. One of the highlights of her career was serving as part of the medical team for the Moscow-Utah Youth Games in Moscow, Russia in 2003 and in Salt Lake City in 2004. She has extensive experience in postsurgical rehab of the knee, shoulder and ankle as well as overuse injuries and osteoarthritis of the hip, knee and shoulder. Melanie believes in spending quality time with patients and that education is an important part of the recovery process. She is also a strong advocate for manual therapy in addition to therapeutic exercise in the treatment process. Melanie enjoys camping, reading, boating and spending time with her family when she is not in the clinic.
