Hi! My name is Melinda and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and have been working in the field of Mental Health for over a decade. I understand personally and professionally how overwhelming it can be to begin or maintain the important process of taking care of your mental health needs and I’m excited to help you navigate your path to healing, wellness and clarity.
Psychotherapy can be a space to unpack and unload thoughts and feelings that may be preventing you from moving forward in life. I value collaboration and authentic feedback from the people I work with and can provide support in a non-judgmental, empathic and sometimes humorous manner.
My training and experience has allowed me to work with clients from a person centered, trauma informed and authentic approach with people experiencing life transitions, relationship difficulties, social anxiety, and various issues related to general anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have also had experience working with students of all ages addressing performance anxiety, motivation, learning difficulties, and attention issues.
