I know that considering a therapist is not easy, and I am here to help you if you choose to work with me. For over 40 years, I have counseled all types of individuals and families, ranging from young teens to seniors; men, women, and those undecided; in-person and by Zoom. We will tailor your therapy together, using the tools of collaborative therapy along with mindfulness, both designed to help build your resilience. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself. My approach I use a collaborative approach to therapy, meaning we will work together to change your negative thinking and actions and build your relationships with others. You will be in control of your care with my guidance. Based on your unique needs, my approach is also centered on mindfulness, and if you need it, we may introduce medication with the help of other professionals. Your goals and progress are my primary focus. Together, we’ll identify challenges and work on strategies to help you move forward with confidence. My focus Have you been struggling with anxious thoughts and self-doubt? I work with young teens to seniors who are trying to manage anxiety, life transitions, and those seeking support for self-esteem issues, and sometimes just finding it hard to get out of the house. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and builds your resilience. My communication style Working with me, you will find me to be a terrific listener and attentive to your needs. I will challenge you at times to try different "roads" to free your inner beauty and increase your mindfulness and being in the moment -- enjoying it.
