CA
Welcome, I am a CA. Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 20-plus years working in the field of psychology. I am here to welcome you as you begin to work on the problems that brought you here today. I know that it might have been a difficult decision for you to take this step. I promise you that you will always be treated with the utmost dignity and respect we all deserve. Rest assured that you will never be judged. Again welcome. I look forward to helping you restore your peace of mind for a healthy, happy future. My approach I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It is" solutions-oriented therapy that focuses on the present. It is designed to help individuals manage mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety by changing negative thought patterns and behavior. I will often also use Rational Emotive Therapy (REBT) is a type of psychotherapy that helps people identify and replace irrational beliefs with more rational ones. I have found over the years that both of these therapies are generally extremely helpful to enhance successful outcomes. My focus Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of conditions. I have worked with individuals with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorders, Personality Disorders, I hold a Doctorate Certification in Addictions, Dual Diagnosis, and Adjustment Disorders, as well as extensive work with Combat Veterans. My communication style I am always very easy going and strive to create a safe non-judgmental environment that enables mutual trust and respect. I am a very engaged listener, you will always know that I care about each and every person as a unique individual. I want you to know and understand that you are heard and really matter. My journey to mental healthcare As an undergraduate, I had two very different Majors, Psychology and Journalism. My senior year, I had an internship at a very large gothic mental institution with over five thousand residents.
