About Dr. Michael Pietrantonio

Michael Pietrantonio, PT, DPT, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Plainfield facility. “I am extremely pleased to be treating in my hometown,” said Michael. “I look forward to providing exceptional care to get my neighbors and community back to their highest level of function and get them feeling their best.” Mike has been a member of the Plainfield community since 2004. He is an alumnus of Plainfield North High School, where he swam and played football. After high school graduation, he attended Carroll University and received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical therapy. He has been a practicing Physical Therapist since 2016 and enjoys working with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Mike’s passion for caring for his patients utilizes a patient-centered approach and an individualized treatment plan. He has multiple skills, including blood flow restriction, dry needling, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. When Mike is away from the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife. They enjoy cooking, traveling, and watching movies. Mike is also an avid Chicago sports fan and can be heard yelling at the Bears on Sundays. He is excited to plant his professional roots in his hometown and treat those he can call neighbors.
