About Michael Ricchiuto
With over 24 years of direct orthopedic, sports, neurological, and cardiopulmonary physical therapy patient care experience, I have excelled in maximizing every patient's individual potential, emphasizing manual therapy techniques and unique individualized treatment plans.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, I have dedicated my entire professional life to building a physical therapy practice that suits the specific needs of the unique surrounding communities within our great city. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and completed my Master's in Physical Therapy at Chatham University, which laid the foundation for my comprehensive approach to patient care.
My team's mission is to "restore hope" to those who have lost it. This means challenging every person who was told, "you will not get better," "you need to take a medication," or "you have to have surgery." In many instances, no one has mentioned trying physical therapy, which is highly effective at eliminating musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and neurological conditions with little to no side effects. In fact, physical therapy is one of the least expensive investments with the most impactful outcomes compared to all other medical care.
Why should you book with me? My experience is vast, my treatment is unique and very specific to your condition. I will listen, we will both learn about each other, and you will maximize your total function—whether that means rolling over in bed better or running an ultra marathon. I had some serious pain in my elbow to the point I couldn't tie my tie and button my collar. That was a real problem for me. After 2 visits with Mike I was able to tie my tie again. I'd recommend Mike and I have to anyone who needs PT.
