About Dr. Michael Sartorius

Dr. Michael Sartorius is the co-founder of VIP Fitness. He has helped transform many people's lives physically and mentally by dedicating himself to helping them "UNLOCK" their UNTAPPED POTENTIAL and become the best they can be. Like many of us, Dr. Sartorius does not enjoy being injured or sidelined from being physically fit and active. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Oakland University, Dr. Sartorius applies his in-depth understanding of how the body moves for "Performance" and "Injury Prevention" training to his staff. This ensures they are better prepared to help a diverse customer base exercise longer and harder without injuries-or, if injuries occur, to work around them effectively. One of the most common reasons people stop exercising, end their commitment to a weight-loss plan, or an athlete stops training is injury. Dr. Sartorius has made it his personal goal to educate and show how people can stay fit or lose weight even with injuries through simple modifications. Dr. Sartorius has also been a Head Trainer and consultant on the weight-loss documentary "I USED TO BE FAT," which aired three episodes on MTV. He appeared on Season 1, Episode 4. Above all, Dr. Michael Sartorius is a father of four and a husband who enjoys every bit of downtime with his three daughters, golden retriever (son), and beautiful wife.

We came here after dealing w/ heel & foot pain for 2 years. We tried orthotics and it wasn't the answer. Coming to physical therapy has been the best choice we made. Dr. Mike and his staff are AMAZING! So friendly and personable. We always felt so welcome. Would recommend to everyone.

Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Only took about 8 visits to take pain away in my shoulder from a rotator cuff micro tear. No surgery needed thankfully!
Highly recommend Dr Mike and the team at VIP. They were extremely helpful solving some balance issues. I appreciate their attention to detail, the flexibility of scheduling and care the entire staff gave me while I was there. They know what they’re doing and work hard to get you better as quick as possible
Dr Mike helped me with my knee. The mri said I had a torn meniscus. It hurt running and clicked everytime I walked. Fast forward to now I am no longer in pain and have no discomfort when I walked. I'm so happy I did my therapy with Dr Mike
