About Dr. Michael Semancik

Mike grew up an avid football and lacrosse player, and eventually went on to play football at Sacred Heart University. After tearing his ACL and successfully returning to play the next year, he found a passion for the world of orthopedics and sports performance, and wanted to use that passion to help others in similar situations. He underwent a clinical affiliation at Princeton University, working closely with their men’s hockey, women’s volleyball, and crew teams, and subsequently went on to work with top youth rowing programs, triathletes, and professional golfers. When Mike is not in the clinic, he spends most of my time golfing, at the beach, and taking his dog Tessie on hikes.
