About Dr. Michael Shin
Dr. Michael Shin is a qualified physical therapist. He is excited to bring his knowledge to Newcare Physical Therapy, located at Norcross, GA. He believes in providing comprehensive and holistic medical care, to enhance his patients’ overall health.
Dr. Shin earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Augusta University. Additionally, he completed a bachelor’s in biology at the University of Georgia. He also has been a dry needling specialist since 2011.
Dr. Shin is bilingual and speaks English as well as Korean. His patients find comfort in knowing that his primary goal is to help them regain control so that they may live their life pain-free.

I am really glad I selected this office for PT. Dr. Shin is really knowledgeable about this line of work. He gave me great information in office and definitely focused on my injury while in office. Plus I was really happy that he gave me PT exercises to do at home as well to help for my treatment plan. Definitely will be doing my treatment here with Dr. Shin and his team!

Everyone was very nice, professional and welcoming. Dr. Shin addressed all my concerns and problems. After the first visit I could start seeing a difference and feel relief. All the staff is very helpful and nice. I would highly recommend Dr. Shin and his staff to anyone looking for great service and a welcoming comfortable environment.

I broke my leg in an accident and I went to New Care for physical therapy. I had personalized excersices to get my leg better. They have all the newest and advance equipments and tools to work with. The doctors are very personable and amazing on what they do. They know their stuff. They got me walking within two months since I broke both tibia and fibula in my left leg. I am very thankful for New Care PT, the doctors and all the employees!! You guys are the best!!

Every visit is fantastic. The doctors care about the patietents. They have your best intrest at heart. They do not treat you as if you don't matter like a chain company does. Everyone knows your name & does everything in their power to take care of you. This is the BEST physical therapy group I've ever used.
