Physical Therapist
119 W 57th St, Ste 600, New York, NY
I’m a physical therapist and dancer who is passionate about providing patient-centered care, particularly in performing arts medicine, pelvic health, and orthopedics. Growing up in San Diego, my own experiences navigating scoliosis, hypermobility, and dance-related injuries inspired me to pursue a career in physical therapy while continuing to dance and helping others do the same. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, where I combined my interests in kinesiology, research, and advocacy. As a member of the Columbia Dance Research Team, I presented original research at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting and the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA) Symposium. I also served as a Peer Advocate with Columbia Sexual Violence Response (SVR), where I supported survivors of gender- and power-based violence. During my final clinical rotation with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, I had the opportunity to work with professional dancers, students, musicians, and faculty while contributing to injury prevention screenings and providing onsite care during performances. I believe every patient, regardless of their background or experiences, deserves to feel welcome, heard, and supported in the clinic. I enjoy working collaboratively with each individual to develop treatment plans that align with their goals—whether that means recovering from an injury, managing pelvic health concerns, or simply moving through life with greater confidence and comfort.
