Dr. Mitchell Dowd graduated from Youngstown State University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from The University of Pittsburgh. Mitchell is certified in Dry Needling techniques and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist – allowing him to further specify his treatment plans across a wide variety of patient populations. As a former collegiate wrestler, Mitchell has developed a strong passion for working within the athletic population and helping individuals achieve their goals. Mitchell’s one-on-one approach combines manual therapy, strength training principles, and education to help patients overcome obstacles and prevent future injury. Outside of work Mitchell enjoys golfing, keeping up with Formula 1, and spending time with his fiancee, Rachel, and dog, Remi.
