About Dr. Mitchelle Arvizu

Mitchelle received her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine with a Coaching Minor from Pepperdine University in 2010. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2015, with an emphasis on manual therapy. Most of her experience is in the outpatient sports and post-surgical orthopedic setting. She holds certifications in Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES) and Fitness Nutrition Specialization (FNS) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is currently working toward becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Mitchelle is passionate about helping patients reach their goals by addressing the whole person and challenging them to succeed in all aspects of their health. Outside of physical therapy, she enjoys playing soccer, being outdoors, traveling, backpacking, hiking, and snowboarding.
