About Dr. Neil Moskovitz

Atlantic Physical Therapy is now offering Shockwave therapy. Shockwave therapy uses acoustic waves that generate oscillations in the tissue. If you are in pain or looking to get back to your game quickly, recover with us. ***This service is not covered by insurance.*** Neil Moskovitz graduated from City University of New York, Kingsborough Community College with an Associate’s degree in Biology. He then attended Touro College and University System, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Part of his training at Touro took place in world-renowned hospitals and rehabilitation centers, including Mount Sinai in Miami, Methodist in Park Slope, and New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery, where he worked in the sports rehabilitation and performance center. It was there that Neil developed his skills in working with orthopedic and sports conditions. After physical therapy school, Neil began working at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he is still on staff and works with orthopedic, oncology, and medical-surgical patients. Neil is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), including its sports, orthopedic, and oncology sections. A believer in evidence-based practice, he has published two research studies and presented at the APTA’s national conference. Neil is an avid athlete and sports fan, participating in softball, swimming, and martial arts. He has competed in numerous triathlons, including the West Point Triathlon. In his time off, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and following The New York Yankees!
