Occupational Therapist
590 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ
Nicole graduated with her M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Hofstra University where she served as the class representative and completed her level II fieldwork in hand therapy with Professional Physical Therapy. Following graduation, she worked as an OT aide before transitioning into the hand therapist role after passing her national board certification. Nicole has experience treating a variety of upper extremity conditions while taking a holistic approach to treatment by combining evidence-based methods with the persons unique needs and contexts. Nicole became interested in hand therapy after seeing a patient early on in her graduate studies move their fingers for the first time following a traumatic injury with the help of a Certified Hand Therapist. Her favorite part of this profession is having the opportunity to give people their upper extremity function back so they can do the things they need and love. Outside of the clinic, Nicole enjoys baking, taking dance classes, and trying new restaurants.
