She opened Base PT with one goal: to provide highly personalized care backed by the most current research and effective techniques. With a history playing NCAA Division I women’s soccer as well as semi-professional soccer, she has a keen understanding of performance-related injuries and rehabilitation. She has also excelled in both outpatient orthopedics and inpatient care focused on post-operative orthopedics and neurological disabilities. Additionally, having worked with doctors behind IMPACT, a concussion assessment tool used throughout professional, collegiate, and high school sports, she has participated in the study and assessments of a growing post-concussion rehab program. Dr. Figueroa practices evidence-based treatments and stays current on all relevant clinical studies, ensuring she can handle each patient’s unique physical circumstances and goals with the utmost care and respect.
