We accept most insurances such as AETNA, BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD, CIGNA, and UNITED HEALTHCARE, etc. Please contact us, and we can call your insurance company to verify your out-of-network benefits. Nina Loarca's interest in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy began with a passion for sports and movement while playing collegiate soccer in the Philippines and California. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science from California State University, San Marcos. Her interest in movement further developed as she provided personal training to a diverse demographic using knowledge from the National Sports Conditioning Association (NSCA), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and U.S. Weightlifting (USAW). She continued her education by earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. During her clinical rotations, she gained solid orthopedic experience at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma (NISMAT) and NYU Langone Rehabilitation. Nina currently practices evidence-based treatments and stays current on relevant clinical studies. In addition, she constantly strives to provide compassion and empathy to understand the individuality of each patient. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and sports, loves connecting with close friends and family, and enjoys exploring different cuisines.

I have been suffering from shoulder-neck pain for 4 years and have been to multiple physical therapists and other treatment with no improvement. Nina was the only one that helped me improve my neck range of motion , reduce the level of pain and improve my posture over all. Highly recommended.
Dr. Loaca is my miracle MD. Prior to seeing her I had seen a chiropractor, a different PT, an Orthopedic MD. After just three visits I was so much better and now I am doing extremely well. She takes care of the entire person not just one section. She is thorough in her diagnosis and treatment plan and is a wonderful human being to boot! Friendly, informative and very sympathetic. I have recommended her to family and friends.
Nina was friendly, warm and professional from the assessment session. She knows exactly what is she talking about and does everything she can to help the progress. I am a professional dancer and educator in NYC and Nina has been incredible with the treatment she is giving me. She always answer all my questions and every email I send with questions and concerns. I highly recommend her, I have been treated by other professionals before but never with this quality.
Nina is the best in class for PT. I had an ACL reconstruction surgery and barely can move my leg and even not able to bend my leg. Her vast experience help me to specifically target the problem and help my recovery tremendously. I was able to walk slowly after 1.5weeks and after 1 month i can bend my leg to almost normal/functional degree. Now i am fully recovered and can do running again. I hope i can go back to my marathon race soon. She cares a lot about my recovery and her bedside manner is 100pct awesome. Thanks Nina for all your help so i can achieve full recovery. I totally recommend her for all my family and friends.
