About Dr. Olivia Barlow

Exercise has always been a large part of my life, which led me to pursue a career in physical therapy. I am passionate about using exercise as medicine to help people feel better, while also taking the time to get to know my patients and what types of movement they want to get back to, whether that's playing a sport they love or simply feeling more confident in their day-to-day movement. Through my experiences as a student at Boston University, I gained extensive knowledge about the importance of providing individualized, patient-centered care. I enjoy developing meaningful connections with my patients and ensuring the care they are receiving is helping them get back to the things that matter most to them. During my time as a student at Professional Physical Therapy, I found that these same values are central to their approach to patient care, and I am excited to be starting my career here. I am also currently a candidate for the Level 1 residency at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (IOMT) and look forward to further developing my clinical skills and knowledge. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active through running and exercise classes, reading, and trying new coffee shops and restaurants around Boston!
