About Dr. Paul Moench

Dr. Paul Moench grew up in Eagan, Minnesota. He attended St. Olaf College for his undergraduate education, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a Middle Eastern Studies concentration. After college, Paul decided to pursue a career in physical therapy, beginning his prerequisite classes and attending the Massage Therapy program at Northwestern Health Sciences University to build his manual skills. Upon receiving his certificate, he accepted a position at HealthPro Chiropractic as a massage therapist. There he worked weekends while completing the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at St. Catherine University. Paul spent a year working with the Flex Workforce for M Health Fairview Rehabilitation Services in the Northland area based in Princeton, MN. Paul now serves a dual role at HealthPro Chiropractic as a part time massage therapist and full time physical therapist. Paul practices physical therapy drawing from a broad range of skills and experiences, including McKenzie and Strategic Orthopedics techniques, manual and tool assisted soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, pain science approaches, and targeted strengthening, stretching, and proprioceptive training to create a plan of care that is right for you. He strongly believes in the partnership formed between therapist and patient, and enjoys empowering patients to take the appropriate steps to help their body heal with a personalized program. Paul will also be available for post-operative rehabilitation under those circumstances in which surgery is necessary. In his free time Paul enjoys reading, writing, exercising, practicing Iaido (a Japanese sword martial art), and spending time with his wife, Meggie.
