“From the moment I walked into Professional Physical Therapy over three months ago until my last visit just recently, I was extremely impressed how knowledgeable and friendly everyone was. Being in the fitness industry myself for over 25 years, I have quite some knowledge of PT but it didn’t help me in the right direction to rehab my shoulder issue(s). Peter Barone in my opinion is the absolute best! He not only guided me through the various exercises that were right for me but his soft tissue work was nothing short of AMAZING! I am little sad that my time with Professional Physical Therapy is over but I know I will make Peter proud from what I learned from him. I actually would like to give them 10 stars if I could…..”

“I broke my femur and had to have a hip replacement. I found Pete and his team here extremely professional and helpful in recovering my functionality. I would highly recommend using this physical therapy center in Medford Massachusetts.”

About Peter Barone
Dr. Barone has been practicing physical therapy since 2012, after graduating from University of Hartford with a Bachelors in Health Science and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. During his time at the University of Hartford, he played Lacrosse at the division one level. Pete is focused on assisting patients return to the activities that they love and enjoy. He started his career in Connecticut, working for Hartford Hospital Outpatient Division and worked there for 2 years before moving to Massachusetts to be closer to family. During his career, Pete has worked with several local high school sports working on strength and conditioning programs to help them achieve their goals. Dr. Barone is Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), has complete level one of the Institute of Manual Therapy, and is currently enrolled in Boston University Fellowship of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Dr. Barone is certified in Graston Technique and Kinesiotaping. Throughout his career, Dr. Barone has worked with a wide variety of patients, from children to geriatric population. He specializes in orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, and complex surgical rehabilitation. He has worked with athletes from high school to professional levels. Pete continues to be very involved with lacrosse playing in an over 30 league and refereeing the high school and youth league. His experience with athletes helps him connect with patients that want to return to sports and activities.
