187 Millburn Ave, Ste 110, Millburn, NJ
Rachel Kraycirik, OTD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist with a clinical interest in upper extremity (UE) rehabilitation and customized splinting. Inspired by her background in cheerleading and her father’s experiences with hand therapy, Rachel is passionate about using her creativity and innovation to motivate and support individuals in returning to their meaningful activities following an injury! Rachel started her journey towards becoming an occupational therapist at James Madison University where she earned her B.S. in Health Science with a Pre-Occupational Therapy minor in 2023. She then attended Monmouth University’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program earning her OTD in 2026. During her level II fieldwork experience in an upper extremity rehabilitation setting, she developed a strong passion for assisting individuals of all ages with orthopedic, sports-related, and nerve-related hand injuries. Following fieldwork experiences, Rachel created a doctoral capstone to gain a deeper understanding in how to integrate emerging 3D printing technology into orthotic fabrication to customize 3D printed orthoses that meet individual patient needs. At the conclusion of her program, she was honored to receive the 2026 Creativity and Innovation Award presented by the Monmouth University Department of Occupational Therapy on behalf of her doctoral capstone. She was also invited to guest lecture within the Monmouth University OTD program to guide students in developing 3D printing skills applied to 3D printed orthoses for upper extremity conditions to enhance their clinical and technology competency prior to clinical practice. Outside the clinic, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach on Long Beach Island, staying active, exploring new restaurants, making soups, and fishing for trout, fluke, or striped bass!
