About Dr. Rachel Long
Dr. Rachel Long PT, DPT is a physical therapist and the Facility Director at Lifeline Therapy Penn Hills. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009 and her Bachelor Degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a certificate in Kinesiology in 2006 from The University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Long has an American Physical Therapy Association recognized competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation which she received in 2011, as well as advanced clinical skills and knowledge. She specializes in the treatment of dizziness, vertigo, concussion and balance in addition to orthopedic conditions. Dr. Long is a certified practitioner for LSVT BIG since 2017. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, The Vestibular Disorders Association, The Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, and the Vestibular Rehabilitation Special Interest Group. In her free time, Dr. Long enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, and any outdoor activities.

Rachel was very thorough in her exam and explained everything in terms I could understand. I have had physical therapy before, and this exam seemed much more extensive than before. I really felt like she understood my issues and her plan should help. I am excited to start therapy. Thanks.

I love lifeline. I have dealt with vertigo for a few years now and wish I found Dr. Rachel sooner. She's very patient, thorough, kind and takes time to listen to me, She's a lifesaver.
