Getting to know Dr. Rebecca Gehlke

Greetings! My name is Dr. Gehlke Nolan. My approach I utilize a systems approach with cognitive behavioral interventions to support clients as we discuss and move through issues blocking the way to mentally thriving. My focus With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, my focus has been on the systems we exist in and how they affect us individually, as couples, and as families. I currently focus my telehealth practice on individuals and couples. I earned my PsyD from Alliant International University, which has shaped my understanding and approach to therapy. My communication style I strive to create a warm, accepting, and welcoming environment for all clients so they feel psychologically safe enough to be vulnerable and work through issues holding them back from success. My goals for you In the first session, we will explore your reason for seeking therapy and agree on goals for treatment. Throughout the course of therapy, we will address and update these shared goals as necessary.

Feeling isolated and overwhelmed by family and work responsibilities, Dr. Nolan's collaborative and socratic approach has offered welcome respite from the cookie-cutter drivel of pop-psychology books and social media. Her approach is transformative, not only helping me identify areas for growth but also challenging me when required. I walk away from every session with actionable goals, feeling lighter and better than the hour before.
