Dr. Rodney Alford PT, DPT, TPI received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Sciences from Northern Illinois University. Driven by a holistic approach to patient care, Rodney is deeply committed to uncovering the root causes of dysfunction. His comprehensive training spans across aquatic therapy, diverse manual interventions, and specialized strength and conditioning techniques. He thrives in addressing diverse musculoskeletal challenges, with a particular passion for working with overhead athletes and martial artists. Throughout his career, Dr. Rodney has had the privilege of collaborating with professional athletes across the four major sports leagues, as well as with competitive high school and college teams and active adults. This experience has honed his ability to tailor treatment plans that optimize performance and support injury recovery. Since settling in San Diego, Rodney has embraced the city’s outdoor lifestyle. He enjoys kayaking along the Pacific coastline, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), exploring scenic hiking trails, and refining his strength training regimen.
