About Rutvi Shah
Rutvi Shah completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEM Hospital) in Mumbai, India. While working with national and international athletes in India, she developed a passion for strength and conditioning. Rutvi is currently pursuing her Master's in Exercise Science at Long Island University, Brooklyn. She is also anticipating completing the NASM certification for corrective exercise specialist.
During her time in India, Rutvi worked with international singles tennis players, triathletes, marathon runners, and ballet dancers, treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. She enjoys working with the athletic and performing arts populations. From the early age of 7, Rutvi underwent formal training in Indian Classical dance (Bharatanatyam) and Indian Folk dances. Performing arts has played a major role in shaping her personality, and when passion amalgamated with profession, she decided to pursue performing arts physical therapy as a specialization.
Rutvi continues to grow as a manual therapist and perfect her precision in manual therapy. She is also interested in pursuing ballet shoe fitting.
Rutvi enjoys exploring different dance forms and spends her free time attending workshops led by various choreographers. Additionally, she enjoys cooking and hosting friends and family for festivals.
