About Sakshi Mahajan
Sakshi is a licensed physical therapist with over 6 years of diverse clinical experience and a passion for helping people move better. She earned her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from India in 2018, which has been evaluated as equivalent to a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Minnesota Board of PT and the U.S. Foreign Credentialing Commission. She further advanced her education with a Master’s in Exercise Physiology from Dallas, Texas.
Sakshi has worked extensively in outpatient clinics across New York City over past four years, treating a wide range of patients—from post-op recovery and sports injuries to pre & post-partum conditions, chronic pain and mobility impairments. She has a clinical edge in vestibular and balance therapy, helping individuals overcome dizziness, vertigo, and instability with confidence and care.
She is certified in myofascial release, trigger point therapy, aquatic therapy, muscle energy techniques and vestibular rehab. Her approach centers around pain relief, ergonomic awareness, and building long-term wellness. She doesn’t just track progress; she takes joy in every milestone her patients achieve. Dr Sakshi is a great listener and communicator, she gives the patient all the time needed to explain the symptoms and how they feel and she backs it up with a detailed explanation of why they feel that way and the approaches she prefers taking as to alleviate them. I knew I was in great hands the moment she started explaining my symptoms she also made sure I was pretty convinced with her approach so that both of us had our expectations aligned. She isn’t one of those Drs that rush a patient to have a room for another one, I could tell she has very high morals, values and ethics in her practice. Definitely recommend Dr Sakshi and looking forward to our journey through this.

Sakshi Mahajan is attentive and detailed. Test different movements to narrow down the source of the problem. She then explained the muscles involved. She then created a series of stretches, exercises, and massages to help heal the problem. I am very happy being under her care. I highly recommend Sakshi Mahajan

Physical therapist Dr. Sakshi Mahayana was knowledgeable, understanding and patient. Her calm manner put me at ease and made me comfortable. I would definitely recommend her. I found her through googling physical therapist near me and I saw her ratings and decided to give her a try. Great decision on my part. This was my first visit and I was very impressed with her.
