About Dr. Samuel Englander

Sam grew up in New Rochelle, NY and lived in NYC working as a physical therapist and personal trainer before he moved to Colorado in 2020. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Pittsburgh. After working as an intern in cardiac rehab and as a personal trainer at a high-performance gym, Sam realized that he wanted to further his education in orthopedic, movement-based rehab and injury prevention. This led him to attend SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Since graduating, Sam has worked with many different populations from high school athletes wanting to return to their sport to 90 year olds looking to perform daily activities with improved function. However, he particularly enjoys working with athletes of all ages to return to sport and injury prevention. In his spare time, Sam enjoys weightlifting, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and camping with his wife and 2 dogs.
