About Dr. Samuel Howard

Sam was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, but his parents lived in Talihina, Oklahoma at the time. He moved around quite a bit growing up, living in Ada, Oklahoma; Papua New Guinea, where his parents were missionaries; Pensacola, Florida; and San Diego, California. Sam graduated with his Bachelor's degree in biology from Oral Roberts University and then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Southwest Baptist University. He spent one year working in an inpatient rehab hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While there, he regularly worked with a variety of diagnoses, including patients who suffered from post-stroke difficulties and those who underwent various orthopedic surgeries. He is excited to be back in the Tulsa area, close to home, working in outpatient physical therapy near friends and family. In his free time, Sam enjoys spending time with family and his girlfriend. He also likes going on bike rides and walks with his dog.
