About Dr. Sean McGuire

Sean McGuire, PT, DPT, SCS, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Downingtown facility. “I am very excited to return to the Downingtown community,” said Sean. “Growing up in, and now being a part of this community with my own family, I look forward to bringing a high quality, purposeful physical therapy experience to our neighbors of all ages.” Sean is described as very purposeful in his treatment of the patients he sees. He understands physical therapy is part of a busy life and that each session needs to be exceptional. He uses research-based treatment to educate patients and empower them to have a role in their successful outcomes. Sean is one of the few board-certified sports clinical specialists in the area. His treatment interests range from all ages, including young athletes and older adults. He enjoys treating all areas of orthopedic injury, including pre and post-operative, and managing concussion symptoms. Sean is a Downingtown native and a 2011 Bishop Shanahan High School graduate. He has been seeing patients in the area since 2018. Outside of work, Sean enjoys staying active and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and dog Beau.
