She is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a provider. Understanding, warm, open to many ideas and thoughts, and good for a laugh. She is willing to share her own stories and experiences, when it helps, even if they aren’t flattering experiences-all for the sake of the care and comfort of her patients. She is very good at what she does, able to clue in on potential problem areas quickly that with each passing week only validate her expert opinion more. She can really get to the root of a subject and help you deal with/manage some very raw emotions in a healthy way.

My name is Shana Castro, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in Pensacola, Florida. I am honored to serve through this profession. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Florida and have over four years of clinical experience. My work focuses on helping those struggling to form deep and meaningful relationships or emotional bonds with others, often as a result of childhood experiences.
