She earned her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Monterey Bay. While there, she helped start, develop, compete on, and coach the Collegiate Women's Rugby Team. After exploring a career in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within higher education, she pursued and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from West Coast University. During her time at West Coast University, she co-founded a student support group for graduate students in the medical field. Through her leadership and diverse clinical experiences, she recognized the importance of creating an inclusive space of support, belonging, and accountability where everyone feels seen and heard. No matter what challenges you face in your rehab and wellness journey, Sharleen's passion for facilitating healing through intentional and meaningful movement will help you return to doing what you love. She is dedicated to equipping and empowering you with the tools to understand your body, your injury, and your rehab process so you can build resilience and grow into the best version of yourself. In her free time, you'll find Sharleen golfing, bowling, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, working out, connecting with family and friends, and spending time with her dog, Boonso.
