My therapy style is warm and collaborative. I strive to create a compassionate environment where you feel safe to share, eager to learn more about yourself, and comfortable to begin to make changes. I approach my work with a deep dedication to your individual needs and goals and am here to guide you through this process.
Modality and Approach
My approach varies depending on your specific needs. Primarily, I work from a psychodynamic perspective with elements of CBT, DBT and mindfulness based techniques. Above all else, I believe that the relationship that we form together is the most important aspect of your therapy journey.
What is one thing you do daily to support your mental and emotional well-being?
I do at least one kind thing for myself every day. In a world where we are our harshest critic and often over-extending ourselves, it is important to constantly work on our relationship with ourselves. I sometimes repeat an affirmation reminding myself that I am an imperfect human and that is okay! Other days, I will try a new hobby or re-connect with a friend I haven’t spoken to in a while. The possibilities are endless!
