Psychologist
CA
Hi there, I'm Staci! Hi! I'm Dr. Staci Graham, a licensed psychologist based in Southern California. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University and have been working in a clinical capacity for over a decade. I consider myself a holistic practitioner by nature, taking into account the whole person-mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually. To be human is to be complex, and I believe therapy should be a validating space where you can explore and sift through that complexity. My approach I have developed a foundation for my therapeutic practice rooted in helping clients foster a better relationship with themselves. I guide clients to develop insight into how they think, feel, and behave so they can make the changes they want, emphasizing the importance of self-compassion throughout the process. Ultimately, I tailor therapy to meet each client's individual needs. My focus I have been fortunate to work with a variety of populations as a psychologist. For the last four years, I've worked with college-aged students, graduate students, and professional adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, and have enjoyed every moment of it. I am comfortable addressing anxiety, depression, interpersonal and relationship issues, trauma, life transitions, identity concerns, cultural matters, grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, and other conditions. My communication style I center transparency and empathy in my work as a therapist. I want clients to feel safe and empowered in session so they don't feel the need to edit themselves-something many people don't experience enough in daily life. I encourage honesty with me and, more importantly, with themselves. And when we can infuse humor into our communication, it's even better! My journey to mental healthcare Helping others has been a core value since I was a child, and I knew early on that I wanted to work in a helping profession. It feels right that I can do this through psychology.
