Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Stephen developed a deep appreciation for health, wellness, and movement from a young age—a passion that led him to pursue a degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. During his time at Cal Poly, he also served as the assistant athletic trainer for the university’s men’s soccer team, solidifying his interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Stephen went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas, where he deepened his clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centered care. Over the past decade, he has worked extensively in both outpatient orthopedic clinics and home health settings, gaining valuable experience treating a wide range of conditions and patient populations. With a strong belief that high-quality, personalized care should be accessible and convenient, Stephen founded Coastal Care Mobile Physical Therapy—a concierge-style practice bringing expert physical therapy directly to patients’ homes across Orange County. His approach combines evidence-based techniques, hands-on care, and tailored wellness strategies to help clients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love.
