About Stephen Kim

Stephen brings over 20 years of clinical experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. A graduate of the University of Ulster in Belfast, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Stephen has held leadership positions including Director of Physical Therapy at a sports medicine clinic and Senior Physical Therapist at Bellevue Hospital, one of New York’s leading trauma centers. Specializing in orthopedics, sports injuries and spine disorders, Stephen is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care. He integrates evidence-based practices with a hands-on approach to help patients regain optimal function while equipping them with the knowledge and tools to maintain long-term health and prevent re-injury. Outside of the clinic, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exploring the local food scene and passionately following his favorite New York sports teams.

I visited Dr. Kim for an ankle sprain. The therapy was very thorough and the explanation of my ankle's condition was clear and easy to understand. The arrangement for an X-ray, just in case, was handled quickly, which made me feel very reassured. Dr. Kim also taught me several helpful home exercises, and that helped my recovery has been going smothly. I highly recommend Dr. Kim.
