About Dr. Steven Rozov
Steven Rozov, DPT brings a variety of post-surgical and functional movement techniques to NYCPT. Steve has worked with numerous different patient bases including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological and geriatric populations. In his role as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Steven collaborates with athletic trainers to maximize functional outcomes of his patients.
Prior to joining NYCPT, Steve worked at Advanced Physical Medicine and Rehab in Edison, NJ. And, as a student, Steve did his rotations at NY Presbyterian Hospital, where he worked with a multi-disciplinary team to create appropriate and safe discharges. He also used neurodevelopment techniques to facilitate treatment.
Steve graduated from the College of Staten Island in 2013 with a bachelor’s in psychology. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from his Alma matter in 2017. He was awarded for an outstanding GPA in the DPT program at CSI. Steve is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, along with the New York Chapter.

STEVE IS VERY THOROUGH & KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN HE IS WORKING WITH YOU. THIS IS MY SECOND STINT OF PHYSICAL THERAPY FOR MY SHOULDER & THERE IS NO ONE THAT I WOULD RATHER HAVE TREAT IT THAN STEVE.

I <3 Steven, Alani, Brandy and Bianca; they are the BEST. During my time here, I was able to observe Steven's patience and expertise as he provided mentorship to his mentee. He also educated me on my injury and the steps needed for a successful recovery. When in the gym he would observe my progress and provided constructive guidance to ensure I'm maximizing the exercises. Lastly, I especially love that my personal goals are always top of mind.

Absolutely Amazing! The 1st time I came here was for back pain, I was assessed by Steven and was blown away his analysis of my issue was spot on and his line of treatment and exercises wipped me back in shape fast. Now I'm back for my shoulder and I always ask for Steven.

Dr. Steve is both professional and caring in manner. He always addresses my questions and/or concerns very thoroughly. In addition, the quality of care I receive from him and his staff is incomparable. I have been to a few other PT’s from other facilities, but he greatly surpasses them. I would highly recommend anyone in need of PT to seek care from him.

I had knee surgery on my right knee for torn meniscus. For my recovery and physical therapy I chose to go to NYCPT. What an amazing decision I made. There are a lot of places where anyone can go but I without bias have to recommend this place. First and foremost the staff is so amazing in assisting with everything from paperwork, insurance, scheduling, and answering any questions you may have. Second the facility itself is so clean and big. Never felt like I was in a crowded place. Third I finally met the gentleman who was assigned to me. Steven was absolutely professional, caring, so thorough with the whole procedure that we had to do to get my knee back to full function. Never made me feel like my treatment had to be rushed, always spent time with me and never looked at the clock as if my limit was up. All in all this place is amazing, professional, clean, caring, and just wonderful. Thank you again for getting me back to 100%.
