About Dr. Summer Sides

Summer grew up in Lockhart, Texas. After graduating from Tarleton State with a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Studies Summer worked for the Austin Fire Department as an Exercise Physiologist. While working for Austin Fire Summer obtained her Master's degree in Exercise Science and continued to grow her passion for functional fitness and rehab. After ten years with Austin Fire, Summer earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Summer has served patients in the outpatient ortho setting throughout her career. She also served as Clinic Director for two years in Glen Rose, Texas. She is certified in Dry Needling and incorporates her background in health and fitness in her treatment philosophy. She is excited to return to her roots and is especially passionate about working with the tactical population to help them perform at their highest level both on and off the job. Outside of the clinic, Summer enjoys spending time outdoors with her two Labrador retrievers, riding horses, and being with family.
