About Dr. Susan Nowell

APTA Board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Licensed as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Italy (Riconoscimento received in 2011), Maitland-trained orthopedic PT, ART-certified PT, and Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from the University of Utah. Susan is an avid outdoor athlete who has competed in multiple ultramarathons, marathons, and Ironman distance events, including the Boston Marathon in 2018. She specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine and has been treating runners and athletes since 2008 in the Bay Area. As the head of our Netic Physical Therapy Clinic, Susan strives to provide high-quality care for all types of athletes while fostering a positive, collaborative working environment for all Netic staff and PTs.
