About Dr. Susan Rele
Dr. Susan Rele graduated from the Physical Therapy program at Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai, India in 1985. Since then she has worked in several areas of physical therapy including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, outpatient rehab at Kessler, inpatient rehab, homecare, and orthopedics. Susan is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a certified McKenzie Method therapist.
In August 2014 Susan received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the EIM Institute of Health Professions and completed the Executive Program in Private Practice Management.
Dr. Rele founded AmeriCare Physical Therapy in 2005. She has helped patients using advanced manual therapy skills and techniques such as Maitland, Graston Technique and Kinesiotaping. She uses functional strength training techniques that enable her patients to return to sports, work, and everyday activities. She lives with her husband in Mountainside and has two grown daughters.

Professional, knowledge as to how and what to do to treat problem

I think the practice is fine-- I have more of an issue with the front desk/billing department. After going to Americare for several weeks (3x a week), I find out today (9/12) that we are not "in network" with Americare. Had I been informed properly, I would not have continued to go. But the front desk failed to inform us that we were not in network, and Zocdoc.com did a poor job of filtering out services that were not in network as well. Thank you for making me pay for several people's incompetence to do their job correctly.

Susan is awesome! She is very knowledgeable and her treatments are great! I was in very sevear pain when I went to her. But in just few visits I see a marked improvement. Susan is alse very freindly, I was instantly comfortable with her and the sessions did not seem as painful. I would recommend Susan to anyone in need of PT.
