About Thomas Namey

Physical therapist Tom Namey is the owner of Rainier Physical Therapy. He earned his Bachelor's degree and Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. While in graduate school, he met his future wife, Christine, who is also a physical therapist. Shortly after graduating, he moved to the Seattle, Washington, area, which inspired the name ?Rainier Physical Therapy.? In 2010, the pull of Pittsburgh brought his family back to the area, and he was excited to bring his experience treating patients on both sides of the United States to this new endeavor. He opened Rainier Physical Therapy in 2012, finding Cranberry Township to be a growing community with increasing medical needs. Tom serves as an educator and trainer, helping his patients understand and resolve their conditions. On most days, you can also visit with the clinic dog, Oso, who is always happy to receive a pat on the head.

Through the years I have been to Rainier PT several times for various therapies. I have always been very pleased with the care and attention that I receive. They are totally professional and the care I receive is very effective. Rainier is the only PT provider I consider.
Tom took the time to listen to my symptoms and what I was feeling in my knee. He is very knowledgeable and was able to explain to me what was wrong and explained what his plan entailed to get me back to 100%. The staff was very friendly too! I will definitely continue with Tom.
