About Dr. Tim McHenry

Tim joined ESSMC in 2022, bringing over 40 years of experience to our care team! He is a 1973 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a BS and certificate in Physical Therapy. In 2006, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Tim is also Astym Therapy Certified. Tim has always been interested in treating spinal patients, which has led to his current focus on helping all patients who suffer from chronic pain. He strives to help those patients not just manage their pain but to actually be free from it. He uses Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), which has been scientifically proven to relieve chronic pain. "Freedom from Chronic Pain" is his passion and mission for all patients he treats. In his free time, Tim enjoys riding bicycles on local trails with his wife. He is a proud father of five children and grandfather to seven grandchildren. He is also very passionate about his Catholic faith.
