About Tyler de la Torre

I have always been surrounded by sports throughout my life. I played baseball and soccer until high school, when I committed to focusing on soccer. With four years of NCAA Division II soccer at Molloy College and two years playing semi-pro in the Super-Y league, I have developed a strong player and coach background in the beautiful game. After undergoing hip surgery and being introduced to the world of physical therapy, I immediately fell in love with the field and decided to pursue it as a career. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the New York Institute of Technology and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. I love what I do-meeting new people from all cultures and backgrounds every day. Helping my patients return to the activities they love is my true passion, whether that means playing a full 90 minutes of soccer, pitching a nine-inning shutout, or golfing with friends on the weekend.
