Dr. Liao earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from China Medical University in Taiwan. After completing her PT school training, she continued advanced training with certification in International Dynamic Tape Level 1, Redcord Neurac 1, and Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson's. Dr. Liao has treated a wide variety of patient populations with more than three years of clinical experience in the hospital's outpatient department. She specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. Dr. Liao enjoys utilizing manual therapy, strength training, and functional training in her treatment approach and focusing on the entire anatomic and kinetic chain to avoid reinjury and improve movement. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Liao enjoys brewing coffee, cooking, exercising, and traveling. She is also a scuba diver in the summer.
