About Dr. Whitney Hadden
Dr. Whitney Hadden graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. Whitney was a competitive downhill ski racer in Vermont and went on to ski Division 1 at Bates College. Dr. Hadden's experience with high-level sports has provided a foundation and love for rehabilitation. She has completed rotations in Park City, Utah, working with competitive athletes, active adults, and patients with neuromuscular conditions. Most recently, she completed a rotation with the Hospital for Special Surgeries treating post-op and non-op orthopedic patients. Dr. Hadden has also completed ample coursework with Herman and Wallace treating pelvic floor-related conditions. She is interested in rehabilitating pelvic floor conditions with the same mindset as any other orthopedic pathology and is invested in maintaining high-level functioning for all ages through preventative therapy.
Dr. Hadden is currently a resident with the Hospital for Special Surgeries Orthopedic Network in pursuit of becoming an orthopedic specialist. Outside the clinic, she continues to ski in Vermont with friends and family and golf when there is no snow. Dr. Hadden is passionate about all types of exercise, including functional strength training, Pilates-based exercises, and cardiovascular conditioning.

I went to Stroma PT with persistent pain in one knee. They are nice people, the atmosphere is pleasant, and they took my insurance. However, after a couple of sessions, and perhaps due to the inexperience of my particular therapist, I was given an exercise to do that was obviously causing me distress. I pointed this out, but was told to continue. As a result, I now have whole new and worse injury to both knees. I was then told I should go away for a couple of months to deal with it on my own, as I had been doing better by myself without them. I now cannot exercise at all, am putting on weight, and am miserable. I'm not saying this is how things usually go there, but it sucks for me.

My appointment was with Whitney and I really appreciated our thorough consultation. Whitney analyzed the way I walk and did more tests before getting on the table for stretches. I was very pleased with session and look forward to future sessions and a speedy recovery for knee injury.
