About Dr. Zachary Getz
Hi, I’m Dr. Zach Getz. I believe strongly in the human body’s ability to adapt and to heal if given the right environment. My treatment style focuses heavily on education and exercises you can do yourself and not on passive treatments that you need to get from me week after week. My goal is to give you the tools you need to succeed, and to be your guide along the path to recovery.
I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University. I am a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS). I received my bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Southeast Missouri State University and as a student athletic trainer I worked with several collegiate sports teams including gymnastics, basketball, track and field, cross country, and football. After undergrad I served six years in the Marine Corps as a tank platoon commander.

I have worked through a couple of injuries now with Zach and the team at Gotham and I’ve always had a positive experience. The PT sessions and at-home programs have not only helped me reduce pain and get back to normal activities, but also get to a better place than before my injury. Zach always answers my questions thoughtfully and is focused on my personal goals for PT. Would definitely recommend!
