About Dr. Zane Mondschein

Zane was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and attended NC State University for undergraduate before then completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at East Carolina University. His interest in physical therapy began through being an athlete and experiencing injuries of his own which required PT. During this time, he learned how valuable physical therapy is and how an evidence-based plan, patience, and consistency can lead to successful outcomes. Zane is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) where he has experience as a strength and conditioning coach in the private sector and the Division I athletic setting. With this background and knowledge, he enjoys helping people not only rehabilitate, but return to a high level of performance. Whether helping someone return back to sport, recover from a surgery, improve balance, or enhance their health and wellness- Zane takes an individualized approach to truly get to know each patient, their background, and their unique and specific goals. Outside of the clinic, Zane enjoys spending time with his wife and golden retriever, exploring coffee shops around Wilmington, playing basketball, cooking, and relaxing by the beach.
