I had my first visit with David today and not only was the staff friendly and prompt to attend to me, it David was very welcoming and thorough in discussing my needs and history, as well as what I can expect with future appointments.

I have made the most progress in a long time with Andrea. Prior to going to see her, I really had no idea what was going on with me. I thought it was all external factors and had absolutely no sense of self. After a year, I am finally understanding myself, my triggers, and am finally confident again that I have direction and awareness. It has helped me get a new perspective on life and helped me to set boundaries and communicate. But it was a process and I did a lot of independent exploration outside our monthly visits. Before I was anti medication, in all forms, and didn’t want to look inward. but after trial and error, going on and off, I understand that it’s OK if it helps me to be who I really am and I’ve been able to really break through serious barriers I’ve had from childhood. Its really been a tough year personally but a great year for growth and clarity. I arrived depressed and shut down , I leave Andrea optimistic and open, as I move back to the East coast. Thanks Andrea!!! Will miss you!!!
Very good overall experience. Doctor was very thougough. Helpful and kind staff.
Very understanding and calming. Fairly conservative and honest about medication, which was refreshing. I felt like he really took the time to understand my concerns.
I appreciate how comfortable everyone in the office makes us feel, especialy Dr. Wright.
Dr. Rose is very professional. She is on time, listens, takes notes and genuinely cares about her patients well being. She is a wonderful doctor and I am so thankful I found her. It isn’t easy finding great doctors!
Dr. Holly Schwartz was incredibly kind and attentive. She helped me identify problems I’ve been having and wanted to help me find the right solution for me. I’m so grateful to her. The office was beautiful and inviting, there was no wait time, and I felt like I was in good hands. She discussed treatment and medication options with me and made sure I was aware and comfortable with any effects or drawbacks. Very happy to have made my appointment.
Dr Gundersen seems to be a caring doctor who is responsive to a patients needs and preferences. When interacting with previous physicians in this field I have been routinely encouraged to re-try medications that I have had a dangerous reaction too. Dr Gundersen took my concerns into consideration when choosing medications to try and due to that we were able to find a great balance of benefit/side-effect. That being said, this office, it's policies and behavior towards patients is at best unacceptable and at worst predatory. From a massive fee for being more than a few minutes late to check-in (required >10 minutes prior to appointment start time) for your appointment, to cancellations/rescheduling without apology or explanation (or notification I might add), to a rather large fee they charge you if you'd like have your prescriptions refilled - a full 5 second process. Bizarre, hostile, and unethical are all words I'd use to describe my interactions with the office staff. These people are actually the worst and I will not be returning to their office, despite my good experience with the Dr himself.
She is a very nice woman. Very skilled. But I thought her ideas a bit archaic an behind the times for me. I am progressive, feminist and independent. Her basic beliefs were out of sync with my own.
It was a miraculous visit to share with your treating psychiatrist after a 3+ year absence. A client may not fully appreciate his doctor until a period of absence to know his effective treatment made a difference in his client's life, family's life, and the SMART Community. Hopefully, the stigma with effective mental health treatment is not going to hinder our diverse, sustainable, and evolving community.
