About Dr. Britany Baker
Dr. Britany Baker has been in dentistry since 2016 and joined the Catawba Valley Dental Care team in 2020. She has dreamed of being a dentist since she was a little girl growing up in the dentist's office where her mother worked as a dental hygienist. Dr. Baker is passionate about forming personal relationships with her patients and working together to create a treatment plan that meets each patient's unique goals for both an esthetically pleasing and healthy smile. She completed her undergraduate education at Eastern Kentucky University and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
Originally from Hazard, Kentucky, located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Dr. Baker's background in an impoverished area has fueled her passion for educating people on the importance of establishing healthy oral habits from a young age. She has volunteered in low-income clinics, providing care to adults and children who might not otherwise afford treatment.
Dr. Baker lives in Charlotte with her beagle, Ryder, and Jazz the cat. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, reading, cooking, and yoga. A soccer fan, Dr. Baker cheers on Tottenham Hotspurs.

They care ! From the moment I walked in the atmosphere became clear . They wanted to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way . When I had questions or needed to tell them something both the office staff and clinicians had the time and compassion to listen . I’ve never been treated this well at any type of doctor’s appointment .

This was my first visit to Catawba Valley Dental Care. The staff was friendly, Colleen kept me informed about everything she was doing and Dr. Baker was excellent. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Dr Baker is very friendly and kind, which is super important for me given my dentist anxiety.
Because it was my first visit, I spent 95% of the time with the hygienist who also was just stellar.
While I understand it's the first visit, I must admit I was expecting a bit more time with the doctor herself since she's the one who can actually recommend/do treatment procedures.
Nonetheless, I have scheduled further appointments with Dr Baker and I'm sure we'll have more time to go over my questions.

I was seen right away for my cap that fell off. Everyone from the receptionist to dental hygienist to Dr Baker and the payment was courteous, professional and respectful. I would highly recommend Dr Baker.

Switched to Catawba Valley after my dentist sold her practice. Would definitely recommend. Everyone is friendly and thorough. Everything was pretty quick but didn’t feel rushed.

I love Dr. B & V. They take their time to make sure you’re ready, comfortable, and fixed good as new. The thing I love the most is that they don’t make a list of all the things they need to do. They simply fix what you need to have done.
