She has gained practical dental experience at various institutions, including working with patients with special needs. Dr. Gonzalez is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. She has volunteered her time and skills to various organizations and initiatives focused on oral health, such as Smile for Life. Her volunteer work has included conducting screenings, educating the elderly population on preventive oral health practices, providing oral screenings and fluoride treatments to school children, delivering health talks on dental hygiene practices for children, and providing professional orientation for middle school students. Additionally, she has participated in dental screening camps for low-income populations and performed dental procedures on communities in need. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family. She pursued a career in dentistry because of her passion for helping others, which began during her teenage years when she traveled to the Dominican Republic with a group to help people in need. This experience ignited her love for serving others and inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a positive impact on people’s lives.
