Dr. Esther Shin
I graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2013. After receiving my D.M.D., I completed a residency in General Dentistry at Montefiore Hospital. I believe that achieving optimal health begins with good oral health, and my main focus is to help all my patients reach that goal. I think it is very important to listen to patients' needs and ensure they understand what is involved in their treatment while maintaining their comfort. I enjoy all facets of dentistry and practice conservatively and preventively. My specialty and main focus are Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. I am a member of the American Dental Association. In my spare time, I like discovering new restaurants around the city, traveling, running around Central Park, and catching a symphony at Lincoln Center.

The staff, from the receptionist, to the dental hygienist, Dr. Shin and the outpatient coordinator were very friendly, friendly,knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. They were all thorough with their work and asked if I had any questions throughout my visit. All of my questions were answered. I had a very pleasant experience and look forward to my a follow-up visit!

I made an appointment for 4:30 and I was able to see her at 5:30. She was really nice and friendly but waiting time was horrible. Staffs were very nice though.. I don’t know if I want to go back.

I have horrible dental phobia and Dr. Shin made me feel very comfortable. She was extremely thorough and gentle. I left the office feeling much more confident with my upcoming procedures.

My visit with Dr. Shin completely changed my outlook on dentists. I left the visit with all my questions and concerns addressed. The staff helped make the visit quick and easy. I would reccomend this office to anyone I know. I can now say I look forward to my next dental visit.

Since I walked in, everyone was super happy and welcoming. Dr. Shin was truely amazing. She made sure I understood everything before doing any work. Everyone was so nice and I felt very comfortable being in the office.
